Connect each card template to its dedicated database, whether it’s your existing database(s) or our preloaded sample databases. After printing, effortlessly push back data updates, print dates, smart card data, photos, and more to not just the primary database but multiple back offices with a single click. We offer native connections to the most popular SQL databases as well as ODBC, and we provide plugin development for connecting to APIs.

Support for Multiple Devices:

Producer supports a wide range of Microsoft® Windows printers and other devices, including Logitech webcams, Canon cameras, fingerprint readers, signature pads, and encoders. Card Encoding:

Producer offers inline encoding for popular technologies such as MIFARE®, DESFire (EV1 & EV2), MIFARE® SAM, 1K, 4K, Classic, and more. Our Enterprise Edition includes inline encoding capabilities, while basic magnetic strip encoding is available in all editions. A user-friendly wizard simplifies the setup process for encoding, and our powerful database connections tool allows you to store encoded data back to multiple back offices with just one click.

Advanced Designer:

Easily create the perfect ID card with Producer. Choose fonts, add images, graphics, barcodes, magnetic strips, and more. Our powerful graphic tools enable you to resize and rotate objects, apply enhancements, remove backgrounds from images, create variable images, and more with just a few clicks. Each template can have multiple layouts that automatically switch based on field values when printing. You have complete control over text appearance, field merging, and even background image display in text fields. The user-friendly interface with a Microsoft® look and feel ensures an intuitive workflow.

Our user-guided wizard helps you create cards and connect them to your database in just a few steps. Print Dispatcher:

While not required for basic use, our print dispatcher is worth considering for high-volume card production. Combined with a print server for each printer, our print dispatcher efficiently handles every print job. Upon hitting print, whether for one card or a batch print job, the print dispatcher automatically assigns the job to any connected printer. If a printer encounters an error or runs out of ribbon, the print dispatcher redistributes the entire job to another printer, ensuring uninterrupted print production. When dealing with large batch printing, you can send jobs to the dispatcher, freeing up Producer for other tasks instead of waiting for prints to finish.

User and Group Profiles:

Starting with our Premium Edition, utilize user and group profiles with login features to control access within the application. Group profiles can be applied to departments, locations, or personnel types, limiting visibility to specific card templates, database records, and more. Create user profiles with login expiration dates, password reset requirements, and customized interface access. Define user access to specific templates, functions, configuration tools, and more, streamlining the interface for each user and protecting sensitive data.

Centralized Licensing and Data Sharing:

Centralize data management and licensing with Producer’s network licensing feature. Store all card templates, user profiles, database connections, and more in one central location, accessible to all system users. With centralized licensing, install the software on multiple computers and point them to a central license manager folder anywhere on your network. Our flexible licensing extends beyond local area networks, allowing worldwide access as long as Producer can see the license manager folder on your network. Combined with user and group profiles, gain precise control over user access and software functionality based on location-specific needs.

Customizable Interface:

This plugin is exclusive to our Enterprise Edition and supports encrypted connections for secure data transmission.

Customizable Fields:

Starting with our Premium Edition, create picklists, date pickers, and other field types, and rearrange fields to match your workflow with our Professional Edition and higher. Set required fields for printing, define field formatting, and store data in multiple locations with our storage items feature. Customize field visibility and editability, insert lookup tables for easy data selection, and use invisible fields combined with storage items for data collection and auditing.

Auto Crop Face Recognition:

Maintain consistency in ID card photos with Producer’s auto crop and face recognition tools, available starting with our Professional Edition. Automatically crop images to the perfect ratio and adjust photo size based on facial features, ensuring a uniform look across all printed cards. Choose to store cropped images in your database or keep originals untouched for added flexibility.

Biometrics:

Enhance card security with fingerprint capture in Producer. Capture and store fingerprint images in database records and contactless cards, enabling additional authentication measures and streamlined record lookup. Our fingerprint capture feature is compatible with fingerprint reader devices and supports fingerprint image storage in multiple back offices.

Database Record Filter and Sort:
